2012 Art Contest
Colorado Association for Viticulture and Enology (CAVE) invites you to submit original artwork for the 2012 Colorado Winefest events; the Colorado Winefest in Denver (June 9, 2012) and the Colorado Mountain Winefest in Palisade (September 13-16, 2012). The winning artwork will represent the Colorado wine industry in posters, advertising and promotional pieces. The 2012 contest is open to both fine art and graphic design artists. Artists must be residents of Colorado.
We are seeking artwork that represents the growing wine industry in the state of Colorado and is not region specific, but state specific. The Colorado Winefest committee will select the winning artwork which will be purchased for $700 (to include all exclusive reproduction rights and copyrights). All eligible entries will be displayed at The Blue Pig Gallery in Palisade and all entries will be for sale (excluding the winning entry) at your asking price less The Blue Pig Gallery Visiting Artist Commission of 40%. The artwork will be displayed from January 13, 2012 through January 27, 2012.

January 11, 2012 Judging by Colorado Winefest Art Committee
January 13, 2012 Artists' Opening Reception at The Blue Pig Gallery, 5:30 – 7:30 p.m.
January 28-29, 2012 Art not sold must be removed from The Blue Pig Gallery
We invite you to attend the Artists' Opening Reception to be held 5:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m. on January 13, 2012 at The Blue Pig Gallery, 101 West 3rd, Palisade, Colorado.
