Contest Details
The Colorado Association for Viticulture and Enology (CAVE) invites artists to submit their original artwork for our Colorado Mountain Winefest Art Contest every October. The winning piece will represent Colorado Mountain Winefest across commemorative posters, advertising, and promotional materials.
The Colorado Winefest Art Contest is open to Colorado residents 21 years of age or older.
The winner of the annual Colorado Mountain Winefest Art Contest will receive a cash prize of $700.00 (to include all exclusive reproduction rights and copyrights) as well as extensive nationwide publicity and promotion by becoming the official Commemorative Poster Artist of Colorado Mountain Winefest for that year.
Each January, the Winefest Art Committee will select finalists, and the public will choose the winning artwork through online voting. The winning piece will be purchased for $700 (which includes all exclusive reproduction rights and copyrights). All eligible entries will be displayed online at ColoradoWinefest.com. The winning entry is announced online through CAVE’s social media channels. All entries (excluding the winning artwork) must be for sale.
Qualifications:
- Artist must be a Colorado resident 21 years of age or older
- All art entries must be two-dimensional (Photography and 3D art are not eligible)
- Entries should represent Colorado’s growing wine industry
Artists may submit more than one piece of artwork at a fee of $20.00 per piece. Previously submitted artwork is acceptable. All artwork submitted will be displayed online at ColoradoWinefest.com as well as promoted to over 25,000 subscribers!
