The Colorado Association for Viticulture and Enology (CAVE) invites artists to submit their original artwork for our Colorado Mountain Winefest Art Contest every October. The winning piece will represent Colorado Mountain Winefest across commemorative posters, promotional materials, and paid marketing channels, and its artist will receive a $600 cash prize plus two (2) Signature Tickets (a $400 value) to attend the event.
The Colorado Winefest Art Contest is open to Colorado residents 21 years of age or older.
As Winefest continues its elevated, curated format, we are seeking artwork that captures the spirit of Colorado wine and reflects the vibrancy, elegance, creativity, and diversity of our state’s wine industry. Artwork should convey a statewide Colorado identity, rather than focusing on one specific region, winery, or community.
The Winefest Art Committee will select finalists, and the winning artwork will be chosen by the public through online voting. The winning artist will receive $600, which includes all exclusive reproduction rights and copyrights to the winning artwork.
All eligible entries will be displayed online at ColoradoWinefest.com, providing artists with an opportunity to showcase their work to Winefest’s audience and Colorado’s wine community. All submitted artwork, excluding the winning piece, must be available for sale.

January 1, 2027 — Entry form(s), fee(s), and artwork submissions due at ColoradoWinefest.com
January 8, 2027 — Online voting begins
January 29, 2027 — Winning artwork announced
January 10 – February 1, 2027 — All submitted artwork on display online at ColoradoWinefest.com
Qualifications:
Artists may submit more than one piece of artwork at a fee of $50.00 per piece. Previously submitted artwork is acceptable.
