The Festival in the Park takes place in Riverbend Park in Palisade (451 Pendleton St). Events taking place during Colorado Wine Week take place across the Grand Valley at over a dozen events and venues! The Festival in the Park will always take place at Riverbend Park in Palisade but you will find a myriad of events and activities at participating wineries and restaurants to hotels and downtown business and farmers markets!
A digital program will be available on the homepage two weeks before the event and will also be handed out at The Festival in the Park each day upon entry.
No one under the age of 21 will be permitted (this includes infants in strollers or carriers). IDs will be checked. We love your kids and furry friends, but no children or infants will be allowed entry Pets are not allowed to attend any festival event for the safety of all guests. Service animals must be in vests and have proper documentation.
Yes! For everyone’s safety at Colorado Mountain Winefest, all bags are subject to search, and a magnetometer screening will be in place to enter the event.
No LARGE Coolers are allowed. Small, soft-sided coolers are OK (about the size of a case of wine). No outside beverages will be allowed. Reusable water bottles will be emptied before being allowed in the park. There are several FREE water stations located throughout the park marked by blue water droplets on the festival map. Outside food is allowed and picnicking is highly encouraged!
Tables and wagons are NOT allowed into the Festival. Attendees are encouraged to bring folding chairs and blankets. Some shaded seating is provided.
There will be a variety of food, water and sodas available for purchase inside of the event. This includes food trucks, as well as a selection of other concessions. Complimentary water stations are also provided and will be marked on the festival map by water droplets.
Yes! There is a large Retail tent where you can pick up some amazing merchandise at Colorado Mountain Winefest. This tent is located near the exit inside of Riverbend Park and is full of Commemorative Winefest Posters, ladies-cut shirts, Riedel wine glasses, hats and other souvenirs to remember your time at the Best Wine Festival in the Nation!
Yes! We offer a free shuttle surrounding the Town of Palisade as well as a $15 round trip shuttle to and from area Grand Junction Hotels. You can find more information on our Shuttles & Parking Page
Yes! We offer a bike corral outside of The Festival in the Park to lock up and secure your bike while you enjoy the event! However, we do not allow bikes inside of the Festival for the safety of our attendees.
There is a FREE Wine Storage tent located in the park where you can safely store any purchases made at the Festival.
Yes, you will find our Lost & Found at the Festival Info Booth in the middle of the park. After the Festival, please email [email protected] to file a claim for lost item(s) and we will do our best to match lost items back to their owner. Valuables will be held for 30 days and then donated to a local charity. CAVE and Colorado Mountain Winefest will not be held liable for any lost or unclaimed items.
The Festival is wheelchair accessible and we provide a dedicated handicap entrance gate to the event. Handicap porta-potties are also provided throughout the Festival. A limited amount of handicap parking is available at the Festival parking lot. To access this parking, simply show traffic control your handicap placard.
Yes! Proceeds from Colorado Mountain Winefest fund the Colorado Association of Viticulture & Enology (CAVE), the only non-profit dedicated to the state’s winery and grape growing industry.
If you have purchased your tickets through Eventbrite but never received your confirmation email, please click here! All tickets will also be re-sent a few days before Winefest along with helpful event information.
Unfortunately, no. Winefest has sold out for the past 9 years and no additional tickets are held for gate sales. We highly encourage participants to purchase tickets well in advance of the event.
Just as with any sporting event or concert, we do not refund tickets, however, tickets are transferable. The name on the ticket does not have to match the person attending, as long as they are over the age of 21 with a valid ID.
Ticket holders are welcome to exchange their tickets with other individuals who are looking to attend Colorado Mountain Winefest.
Colorado Mountain Winefest will be held rain or shine.
A General Admission ticket includes entrance into the Festival in the Park on Saturday, September 21st, a commemorative wine glass and wine tote, unlimited sips from dozens of Colorado wineries, educational seminars, chef demonstrations, live music, complimentary wine storage and shopping at dozens of artisan vendors.
A VIP ticket includes entrance into the Festival in the Park on Saturday, September 21st A VIP ticket includes a separate entrance to The Festival in the Park. You will receive a commemorative Riedel crystal wineglass and wine tote filled with gifts. You have the option to park near the VIP entrance or use your ticket as a Free Shuttle ticket. The VIP Pavilion is full of a delicious array of gourmet dishes prepared right in front of you! We offer a concierge wine storage in the Pavilion for our VIP guests as well as your own separate restrooms and patio area. VIP guests will enjoy everything included with the General Admission tickets as well.
The Non-Drinker ticket DOES NOT PERMIT any wine consumption or purchase during The Festival in the Park. You must be 21+ to purchase this ticket.
The Non-Drinker ticket includes a free water bottle, interactive seminars, chef demonstrations, live music, and shopping at dozens of artisan vendors.
